Shar has been a certified STOTT PILATES instructor for six years. She has invested in intensive study and training to become a certified instructor and actively pursues continuing education in all aspects and methods of Pilates training. Shar is certified on the many pieces of Pilates apparatus and Mat instruction. She was first introduced to Pilates 17 years ago when the strain of being a gym rat for 20+ years began to take its toll on her joints. In a very short time, Pilates not only changed her body...it changed the way she felt about her body. For the first time, she actually felt the deep muscles working, lengthening and strengthening, without the strain on her joints. Her whole body posture changed...she felt taller, leaner, stronger and full of energy from the inside out.
Shar prides herself on her ability to apply and convey her Pilates training to assist each client in their understanding between the connection of mind and body and have a better understanding and respect for their bodies and their health. Her focus is to personalize and streamline each workout for maximum results.
